Travelling
TRAVELLING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT :
Visitors travelling by train travel to Brig or Visp and change to the post bus with the direct destination 'Saas-Fee'. There are half hourly connections until 8.45 pm from Brig and 9.10 pm from Visp. Check your luggage in at your local station and collect it at the bus station at the Saas Valley post offices. Visitors travelling by public transport can advise us by telephone in advance of their time of arrival, or use the free telephone service offered outside the tourist office opposite the bus station on arrival. We will pick you up with our hotel electro-car.

Private car travellers from the north via motorway to Bern use the pick-a-back train through the Lötschberg tunnel, from the east the pick-a-back train through the Furka tunnel (or over the Furka pass in the summer), from Italy over the Simplon pass and from the west via motorway to Sierre-est. All routes meet in the Rhone valley at Visp.

PARKING INFORMATION
The „Pearl of the Alps“ begins where the road stops - Saas-Fee is free of car traffic!
Drive into the new parking house at the entrance to the village. Find a parking space in
terminal A or B and unload your car. Call the hotel using the free telephone service provided
there (code 7324 for hotel Etoile) and tell us the number of your unloading space and
which terminal. While you wait to be picked up, find a parking space in the parking house
or outside (same price). Our hotel electro-car will take you free of charge to the hotel - from
that moment onwards your car-free holiday begins !
At the hotel reception desk, you will receive your guest card, which entitles you amongst
other offers to a reduction at the car-park from the 2nd day onwards. In order to benefit
from this reduction, your parking ticket must be decoded at the tourist office before you leave
the car park. Your parking bill can be paid at the automatic paying machines behind the
tourist office, in the terminals A + B and near the exit to the outdoor car park 1.
