Our history
| 1973 | In 1972/73, the hotel „Etoile“ was built by George and Mary Bumann and opened at Easter 1973. With much dedication and pleasure, they cared for the numerous hotel guests for 18 years. | |
| 1991 | Change of generations in this hospitable house. The hotel was handed down to the two sons, Albert and Rolf, and has since then been run by Rolf and Daniela Bumann-Williner. | |
| 1993 | After a complete renovation of the façade in spring 1993, hotel „Etoile“ regained new youth. | |
| 1996 | Renovations everywhere - the bedrooms, bathrooms and the staircase were renewed and modernised. | |
| 1997 | Complete renovation of the hotel foyer. | |
| 2001 | Albert Bumann is leaving the hotel as copartner after 10 years functioning. | |

Springtime: Extension of the underground-floor (all-purpose-area for different Events/ Game-room with billard, table-tennis and so on/ Conference-room with big screen for movies, sport-TV-direct-transmissions and a comfortably local with bar. New course for game of bowls on the south-west-side. Autumn: New dining-room by an annex with three saddle roofs. Reconstruction of the ground-floor with new lobby, reception, meeting-point-bar etc. Enlargement and renovation of the hotel-kitchen. |
