In summer free use of the mountain railways and buses in the Saas valley (excluding Metro-Alpin).

Skiing and snowboarding in summer
A dip in a mountain lake isn't the only way to cool down in summer. At the Free Republic of Holidays Saas-Fee, you can ski and snowboard in optimal conditions all year round. It’s a truly special experience and not just because of the pleasant temperatures and 20 km of diverse glacier pistes. You might also spot national and international sports teams training at our summer skiing area.

Mountain biking
With 70km of well-marked trails, the Saas Valley is a mountain biking paradise where everyone can find their perfect trail, be it simple or challenging. Pick up a map of all the routes from our tourist office. You can also hire mountain bikes and electric bikes, or take one of our guided bike tours.
Ball games
Whether it's pétanque, boccia, mini golf, pit-pat, beach volleyball, football or tennis, Saas-Fee can offer almost every type of ball game out there. Just don't let the game distract you from the breathtaking views of our 18 4,000-metre peaks.
Mini golf
You probably already know how much fun mini golf is, but you may not know what it's like to play in front of a spectacular mountain backdrop.
Sports and soocer field
In the summer, the field can be used for football (90 x 50m artificial turf), tennis (five courts), basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball and field hockey. In addition to this, skaters can find their perfect skate park, golfers their driving range and the littlest citizens of Saas-Fee their playground.
